Would a B2000 tailshaft housing fit a ribcase tranny? You know, the kind with the tilted case?
I don't know if I can get away with moving the shifter forward in the non-remote trannies. The shifter housing is an integral part of the tailshaft and would not be easy to move it forward. Unless... I'll have to take a good look at it and see if it's possible.
I could also do a dog-leg if necessary. It may look a little funny on my center console, but it would locate the shifter in a comfortable position.
