How much power can i crank out the 20b?

Ok im running a full stock keg with roughly 40k miles.
Borg warner s366
1250cc injectors and microtech.

Im running 14psi as of now making roughly 400hp and trq. with no problems at all.

My question is; if i needed to, because of competition, would i be able to push about 600 out of her without running into any major issues on the stock keg?

If you have to ask, you can't afford it

So what kind of power or stress it can handle for that matter is dependent on the condition. The stock oil system was not meant to handle high rpms like 13brew. Power numbers are based on a lot of things. You could run 600whp with you current turbo but that depends on stuff like what trans you plan on using and wether you plan to drag launch it or roll into the throttle, what fuel you are using. what can you keep the intake temps at? Anothebig question is what condition is that 20 plus year old motor in? How was it treated when some wealthy individual in Japan in the early 90's bought the car? How was it treated after the car was chopped up and it went in a container and was shipped across the ocean? My point is there are way to many variables to look at. you turbo will handle the power levels but at a higher boost level probably. So best to run AI ,water, ethanol or some race gas though to keep chances of detonation at a minimum also consider a rebuild if nothing else just for an inspection. its is far cheaper than blowing the motor replacing the broken parts. (many of which are nearly impossible to come by) and then having to pay for or do a rebuild anyway.

Seems quite low for power at that boost level..

I know a 13b will make 400 hp @14 psi. Better check the tune, wiring, etc. My 20b gt43r makes about 550 at 14 psi, with stock ports.

Probably a reliable tune. with the torque of a 20b a reliable 400hp would be fun i think

I humbly dissagree. The difference between a reliable tune and a "get the last hp" might be 20 hp. Unless you knock the timing back so far you can run 5 year old 87 octane i would say its a bad tune or something is off in the fuel or electrical.

The car is very rich, they had to stop tuning because the neighbors made a noise complaint so the cops came......I would fresh up that motor before trying to make more power.
