I took my engine apart two night ago and this is what i find inside.

^^ He He He good thing shafts are dime a 1/2 dozen, cause if they wern't you'd be crying really hard right now, kinda like if you plow your car into a poll cry, i'de be happy cause it means another chance to tear the engine apart a few more times, but then again i like doing stuff like that.

pictures 2 & 3 indicate the e shaft already had a deep crack in it for a period of time before it finally tuned into a two piece e shaft.

whats 20b series number do you have ,whats the number on your plate and rotor housing,just wanna see if i might have the same crank problems as you do.

did this motor have step dowels?
this could be one of the reasons for the step dowel pins for the front iron.
the step allows the shaft to align the front iron, rather than the front iron
possible putting side pressure on the shaft due to machining imperfections.
