Yeah, thats not bad.. only problem I see is that it doesn't come with a water pump, thermostat housing or water pump housing... You'd have to either go with an electric setup (YES!) or use a smaller T2 pump and housing... or, better yet, buy my unmodified 20b waterpump and housing

Ah yes, yet one more person who realized too late that the 20B conversion involves just a little more work and money than expected.

I don't even think that it weighs 325. I lifted my block out of the truck and up 3 stairs by myself and it didnt feel like 325 lbs.

I think my car will weigh less, if not the same as before since I ditched the PS and AC. Plus, I'm ditching the 40 lb leather seats for some lighter ones, but adding a rollcage...

this brings up a good point, i can't weight to see what this SOB weighs...

still waiting on my custom radiator... should be here next week. Then IC pipes and I'm ready to roll!

If that motor winds up selling for as much as a complete motor then I'm giving up on humanity.

Will a 13b-RE water pump and housing fit it OK? Its got that weird double thermostat thingy... I got one from my cosmo swap gathering dust in a box If anyone needs it

Should work, how well, I dunno. I was going to use my 13bt housing and pump, but decided to not be cheap and got a Meziere remote mount 55 gpm pump... its TIGHT yo!

yes the 20b has a different water pump bolt pattern, and water pump housing than any other rotary, but mazda put both holes in so they all interchange. or did you know that the 13b cosmo and the 20b have different waterpump housings?

Hmm.. Never noticed this before. Why is the front intermediate housing so much wider than the side housings?

there is a stationary gear in side it. otherwise it would be the same as a 13b intermediate housing

Some of the tension bolts thread into it, and the rest pass through it to the front. http://cp_www.tripod.com/rotary/pg20.htm#20BREW

Thanks for the info guys. I learned a lot about a 20B from this thread. Didn't realise that they had 2 peice E-shaft. Pretty cool stuff.
