Is this turbo is really a GT 55???
a guy here in Puerto Rico have installed a GT55r on his 20b Rx8 producing a 1278RWHP And it looks much bigger than your turbo, specialy in the compressor impeller.

I've seen the turbo in person and have never seen a larger turbo. It's about twice the size of a GT42R. I told Gotham it looked like they were strapping on a jet engine to the car

The turbo is Garrett GT5533R, 133mmm compressor exducer , 91mm compressor inducer, ball-bearing, 6" compressor inlet, 5" downpipe... 155lb/hr flow...

It makes the GT42R look like one of thw stock twins on the FD...

Look how's diferences! the installed is a gt47 with 88mm. compressor the big one to installed is a turbonetics thumper 106mm. compressor.

993 RWHP @ 27 psig this number was with the GT47-88R older turbo, With thumper i hear it is make over 1200 RWHP @ 20 PSIG.
