Fuel Tank Breather Connection FD3

I am running new lines for my FD3/20B conversion without the hard pipes. I worked out where the feed and return go but I am a little stuck with what to do with the fuel tank breather?I gather this connects to the charcoal canister and then the little catch tank under the throttle body on a 13B and then goes via a solenoid and one way check valve to the UIM.
What I want to know is what to do with it now. I have no charcoal canister and no way of powering the solenoid, But I d have the 13B catch tank bit the bendy bit of pipe that connects to it and the check valve all in tact.
Can I remove the solenoid and connect this the catch tank to the UIM with the check valve in place then run the breather direct to the catch tank? Do I need the bendy bit of pipe to stay in place as well or can I just run a pipe straight to it?
Other options?

Cheers
Lee
