fd3s rear end for 20b swap

fd3s rear end for 20b swap

Ok guy's here's my question my buddy has a 20b in an Fd he is making 575rwhp and 480torque the problem is he keeps breaking the rearend when he launches the car above 3500rpm he has a stock rearend are there any cheap solutions to this problem is there anone making a rearend for the fd to handle this power for a reasonable price or some type of modification than can be done for a reasonable amount of money???

a buddy of mine with a 2 rotor shattered his diff, so he got in on the cobra rear end group buy. I saw the parts, they are all top notch. Looks VERY strong.

also, a 1.5 is probably what you want unless you're making a drift specific car or very high speed track car.

I am wondering more so what the stock casing can handle?

The kazz diff i am sure will take 600+ ft lbs but will the case explode before that much like crisspeeds?

my plan is to go for rx7store aluminum driveshaft... kaaz 1.5 way... and rx7store 300m axles


what do u guys think... will it be ok?

Don't forget some sturdier diff bushings.

To answer the posters orginal question, JimLab developed a cradle that utilizes the cobra IRS.
