FD 20b suspension question.....searched.

hello everyone.

quick general question.

i recently took the plunge and started prepping my FD for the conversion.

i have an AutoExe strut tower brace that i wanted to keep. question is, will it clear the 20b's manifold? anyone have one installed? known clearance issues?

any info will be appreciated.

all my work is going to be done by JRX rotary.

thanks in advance.

pic for reference.

Possibly if you cut down the intake runners. on the bright side doing that will probably help with you overall HP.

on second thought . No I don't think you'll be able to. the front section of the bar dips down if I'm correct, and that makes the 20B intake too long. You could possibly fabricate your own manifold to make it fit.

If you sit the engine over the rack you can forget it as the OEM manifold almost touches the hood. Your best bet is to move the engine back to the stock location or fab a new intake.
