I rarely say this, but search. There are several threads on this topic. Also, there is a whole section on 20B conversions. You'll get better answers there.

10k+ for for your general 20b into any rx-7 swap....
most expensive:
motor (almost always needs to be rebuilt, $2400-$3500, plus the cost of the motor)
ecu ~$1200
tranny
subframe to bolt to the motor/body
turbo and manifolds(may come with)
that said good luck kiddo

If the engine is only carbon locked (like mine was)you could easily get away with rebuilding for less than a $1000 if you do it yourself. Replace the apex seals but the side and corner seals hardly ever need replacing. New front and rear oil seals with a gasket kit (plus extra coolant seals and o-rings for the third rotor housing) would make for an inexpensive reliable rebuild.

Anyways this is only if your a cheap bastard.

Wow, are we talking about Mazda OEM apex seals???

$60 x 9 = $540!

Please share your secrets!

I'm talking aftermarket seals (RA $270.00, Atkins $450.00 from ebay ect). I just bought a OEM 13b gasket kit from ebay that cost $110.00 that could be used to seal 90% of a 20b engine. Just buy the 4 extra coolant seals, the large tension bolt o-rings(from mazdatrix), and o-rings to finish the last rotor. 2 new oil seals don't cost much. You can also get the UIM & LIM 20b intake manifold gaskets from ebay for around $50.00. I'm leaving some little things out but you get the idea.
