Nothing else that you should have to do. They fit fine with the stock 2nd gen rubber mounts. My hood closes w/o modifications. Tranny fitment was fine. I was able to use a stock clutch fan and shrod on a stock radaitor w/o modifiying anything. I agree, they did seem like they were a lighter gauge then they should be. However the weld's looked good and they dont look like they are flexing or deforming right now. only time will tell i spose
