EGTs
EGTs
I'm going single now and am going to have bungs welded into each of the exhaust runners for EGT sensors. I want all three because I want to control the fuel trim on an individual basis for each rotor to make sure that they are all where I want them to be.
1) If memory serves me, I believe that the optimal location is a distance from the exaust port equal to 1/2 the diameter of the exhaust runner, please correct me if I'm wrong.
2) What are people's feelings on what kind of temps should be seen comfortably and aggressively?
3) Anybody know of a good sensor/gauge combo for 3 EGTs? I googled and found a few, but figured I'd check to see what anyone else has done first.
Thanks in advance.

I just installed a four channel EGT in my car and the thing is a work of art! One of the best products i have ever bought. It even does on board data logging.
