no. no. please, don't get me wrong. i didn't mean to come off as critical. i don't have my own 20B yet, so no right to really judge someone else's - actually come think of it, i don't think i'd judge anyone else even when i get mine. enough pompous and elitist 20B-owners out there. i don't need to be one of them. it was just what jumped out at me when i saw the pics.

I wasn't directing my comments solely at you. Others were being critical. It's just that as long as I've been here, threads like these usually turn to **** with other people judging some ones handy work. I mean someone made comments about the turbo being too small, or the state of the welds on the manifold. Yet know one has even asked the orginal poster what they hope to accomplist with the project or even hp goals. This set-up looks like it will easily hit in the 400-500 rwhp range with super quick spooling for around town driving or drifting. That's more than enough for most people and maybe what the owner wants.

I personally was questioning the turbo's hotside because, as it was explained to me, it would strongly effect performance to have a small hotside. Different size runners on a manifold can also have a large effect on performance turbo charged or not. One of the Aspec guys can chime in, because they explained their theories behind that to me and I do not want to mis-relay their info. Their manifold is a good choice. In a project of this magnitude, with the money he put in, it is a good assumption that he wants to get everything he can out of it safely. Further, this is a public forum which denotes discussion. Jason answered my question, as well as being the guy who recommended what turbo should go on my 20B. Who died and made you mother Teresa T-von?

So in other words you don't have your own opinion or actual knowledge about the science behind air flow and runner lengths just the opinion of others? I could sit here all day long and critisize someones work while basing my opinions on others experienses and not even have a clue about what the hell I'm talking about. You don't realize that there is a ton of that going on in this forum. When you don't ask people what their plans are with a particular set-up and critisize what you see, then all your being is judgemental.

Anyways I don't want this thread to get hijacked. It will be nice to see the finished product.

I have my own opinions, however, I tend to listen to the people who have "been there, done that." Do you have pictures of your 20B? Hm...
Obviously I wish the builder luck, and would happen to lend the knowledge gained through my experience with him.

I could post pics of mine but what would be the point? To prove that I actually have one? I like showing the end results of my projects. Currently I'm in the process of doing my own fabrication. I will start my own thread later this year.
