Smile perry, or side port?

Several shops built perry and side(street or bridge) port manifolds in the early 90's here in Japan, but mostly they were one off hand builts, I have never seen a mass produced one though. If you are making a PP engine, then any machine shop could fab one up for you. If you are doing the side port style you might have some problems. all of the ones I saw over here that were side port used two 13b manifolds for a weber 48IDA, and then cut one in half, the same applied to the carb, they cut the second barrel off and plugged the feed holes in the float chamber with devcon steel or some other filler. they all ran pretty impressivly at the time, but that was over 10 years ago, and things have changed a lot, what was impressive then, no longer amazes, as turbo tuning has taken such huge leaps. either way you go, good luck.

I've heard of guys running the Weber 46ida 3c triple choke type carb. with a custom intake manifold. The carb was originally used for porsche for the old 911's. Talk to Rene at Rene's muffler shop in Los Angeles. I think he did one for a customer. Good luck

I was working on a single rotor project. I wasn't going to use a Weber though. Anyway I decided to just build a 2 rotor instead.

As for my carbed 20B with a distributor experiement, it wasn't set up right and didn't run well. The ignition worked great. I decided to go EFI.
