That turbo would be fine if he didn't want insanely high power levels. He would have great response and nice driveability with that turbo.

No the last thing you'd want to try to do is try and keep the stock 20B transmission look around in the FAQ a bit more.

As stated above, you want to keep your 5 spd transmision. And while doing so might as well add a light weight flywheel.

Your 5 speed will bolt right up. Just re-use the 20b's rear counter weight and buy a lightweight flywheel and new clutch.

T78 is really too small on a 20B.

yea, a T-88 is a perfect match for a stock port 20b with good response. should be about 600 at 15 lbs of boost.

wow 600hp,man im looking to be around 400 thats all i would need, to make 400hp would the t-78 be enough for that much hp. or beter yet will the t78 be perfect for the 400's at running 10psi, i figure i wouldnt need to run 15 psi with the 20b like on the 13brew, i hear that 10psi is plenty, thanks guys for all your help.

why would you want to put a lightweight flywheel on? I would think you'd want a heavier one on there. ??

WELL I HAVE THE EXEDY HYPER SINGLE SET UP, OK CAN SOMEONE OPPPS CAPS ON
ok, would a lightflywheel be counterproductive on a sinlge set up, Using the hypersingle, i was told that if i was to drop the gears down from 5th to 4th would it be counterproductive and would I lose more power that way, is this true? My concern was lag. i know with my stock 13Brew when i drop from 5th to 4th at around 4000RPMs seems like i get more power, im thinking becuase im allready in a higher PRM range is the correct, thanks for all your help guys.

if all you want is 400hp, you can get that on a 13brew or 13b-re and a t78 or a t04R....

What do you think the response and power potential would be with that turbo Ted?

You can but you wont have the long term reliability and the low end torque when compared to a 20b making that power at lower boost. Atilla The Fun has over 50k on his stock port 20b making around 400hp and it's still running strong. It would be very hard for a 13b to make that power for that many miles. In this situation there is no replacement for displacement.

My 20b project is going to be built conservatively as well.
