best primary/secondary injection ratio
Hello everyone,
I noticed in the AEM base map for rotary engine, that primary/secondary injection ratio is dependant on boost.
At negative loads 25% of total fuel volume routes to secondary injectors, then it increases to 45,70 and finishes at 90% at full boost.
Thus only around 10% of total fuel goes trough primary injectors at boost.
I do not clearly understand this.
As long as primary/secondary ratio of the intake ports size is constant why do we need to change amount of fuel that goes though it with boost grow at WOT?
Also, how to calculate best ratio for big street ported engine?
Incorrect ratio may lead to bad mix and poor burn.
IMHO if secondary ports are larger than primary on ,for example, 50% then we need to follow that ratio while dozing fuel and keep constant rate of 40/60 at WOT, it may be adjusted just at idle and small throttle openings.
what do you guys think?
