The Beast cracks open an eye...

As some of you may know, soon after I purchased my 3Rotor FC from Mariah Motorsports I experienced a very unfortunate engine fire. Well that's all behind me as the insurance company has been great (it is insured as an exotic/specialty vehicle - as discussed in a different thread). As I am an optimist, I took this opportunity to completely rework the car. One example is that while the engine was out, I had it rebuilt. And I didn't just stop there...I wanted to make it pretty. I also had the tranny rebuilt and had the rear-end rebuilt using the mazdaspeed street rear-end (I wanted to make sure that the first shift wasn't the last - weakest link and all, etc). So Rob at Pineapple, Chris at Corksport and I have been working very hard on this project. I am happy to share some pictures that I took today... Here is what you are looking at: My original 20B with rebuilt turbos, FD housings, ceramic apex seals, small street port, and stage 3 oil mods. All of the steel has been powder coated and all of the aluminum has been performance coated (cermachromed). The next step is the install! It was in there once before, so Chris at Corksport will be busy putting it all back. I'll share more as the project continues. Here are the pix...

I did a search for that thread and couldn't find it. Can you PM me with your insurance co. information for the "exotic/specialty vehicle" please?

Thanks, Kerry.
