3 rotor questions

Hey hows it going all. Okay here my question if anybody has some decent answers let me know.

1) If I purchased a 3 rotor what else do i have to purchase in order to get a FD3S to run? (parts only please)

2) Just how hard is a 3 rotor installation to do on ones own?

3) How much would you guesstimate installation fee's to be if I supplied all the parts (or just give me some good shop names/numbers on the east coast)

4) Just how relable is the 20B? And I'll be more then likly looking at SAS racings 700 20B with a small 50 shot.

Thank you I know I'm sounding like a noob but i just purchased a FD where the engine caught fire and the guy wanted to get rid of it. Tranny is fine but not sure if i have to get another one.

THANKS!

I'm not trying to slam you, but if you had a hard time trying to purchase an FD for 13k, the 20B conversion is out of your range.

It depends on how you build it. It's like asking which colors you will need if you want to paint a picture. The 20B swap is a custom procedure, not a kit from Nopi, and if you can understand this then you may actually have a chance of completing the project.

Very hard, and not very many people own one that actually runs on the street. I think there are about 5 running 2nd Gen 20B street cars in the US, and I would guess that there are more 3rd Gen RX-7's because of Pettit and PFS, so I'm going to guess there may be up to 20 20B FD's in the US.

If you supply the car, the going rate is about $35,000 including engine and parts. The price without parts would depend on which parts you can supply, and how you want to build the car. I know of 3 builders on the east cost:

Street / Road Race

Street / Drag Race

Reliability is inversely proportional to the horsepower. The 20B-REW is about 280hp stock, so you can figure out the rest.

It's not a cheap shot, it's a reality check.
