Alternator on Cosmo

What kinda amperage does Cosmo Alternator put out?

who knows? it looks like an fd on so it should be in the 120+amp range.
it is also different between the 13b and 20b cosmo motors, the 20b has a long snout with the 7 rib belt, the 13b is more like an fd.
the 13b cosmo and 20b water pumps and housings are also totally different, the 13b pump looks like an s5 with 2 tstats, while the 20b housing is its own beast

Darn, I had mine tested but I forgot to ask. Anyway, it is better than the FC alternator, but then again so is just about any other alternator.

I'd expect a bigger alternator because
1) It's a luxury car
2) it has 50% more spark plugs to take care of
3) More electronic features to power at same time (goes along w/ luxury car)

So hmmm, how much amperage is the FD? I've heard 100amps, 120, 150. A whole bunch of numbers. Anyone know an official answer?

i thought its 130a but somethimes what they are rated at and what the are are 2 different things.
