AEM vs Microtech

as you probably know from my previous threads, i'm putting a 20b in my 1973 Rx-3 wagon

the only thing i'm gonna modify immediately, is the ECU. i'm definitely going to go with either the AEM or Microtech standalone EMS.

i'm looking for advice on which EMS i should choose. cost isn't really the deciding factor. difficulty in wiring up to the 20b and tunability are the important aspects. anyone who has anything to offer on the subject, i'd REALLY appreciate your input. thanks

Have you looked at Tec 3?? That's what I'm thinking about going with..
I'm not sure if AEM is any good?? Anyone else have AEM to run 3 rotors?? I know their ignition amp is like the worst thing ever created.. and support by my understanding is horrible.

Tec 3 support is suppose to be superb and I could see that just by emailing them to get some feedback from them.. I'm highly leaning towards tec3... Just need a good tuner.. I've heard Demetrios K tunes tec3..

AEM decided not to market a universial version of their EMS, so unless they are willing to make you a custom EMS to go along with a custom harness (or you are willing to graft a 3Gen harness into your car), I think that pretty much leaves you with the Microtech. Just keep in mind that the Microtech EMS needs to be configured for a 3-rotor from the factory, so you can't just buy one used or off the shelf unless it has been pre configured.
