That w58 can handle the power? Those are notorious for letting go at around 400 rwhp.

Notorious for letting go under a 4000lbs supra. This car is 2600lbs. The w58 is a widely used transmission in OZ for drag racing. The input shaft is larger than a TII and wont shear as easy.

Were you able to get a look at the front engine mount? It is hardmounted, right? I didn't see any rocking back and forth. Angle iron or channel? I need to come up with a motor mount solution for my 20B 1st gen.

That's Justin Lilly's car, right? From the pictures he's uploaded here, it looks like they used either steel channel or angle and part of a modified stock front mount bar on a 1st gen front cover. It appears to be hardmounted. There is no engine movement that I can see in the video, so that bear it out. I was just curious if you saw any interesting ideas that you'd like to pass on.
