you will need to run more than one walbro, but i would tell you not to used that pump. I would recommend the bocsh 044 pump, for your 20b

agreed,

I've had nothing but bad experiences with them (3x) and have seen several of my friends have problems with them as well

if u don't use the bosch.. use the Supra TT Denso pump... those things are Solid, direct swap, and push like hell

Well actually now as things go for this swap its amazing how many parts and plans change before the end of a project honestly I'm still very much close to the beginning but even closer to the initial start ... takes a lot of money but you will see why Im still buying things when I can finally put it together

Goodluck, i bought my 20B a year ago, to swap into my FD after losing my nicely built REW to a bullsiht reason,

a year later, mine isn't running yet either...

alot of these projects take time (and money) especially with all the custom work involved...

I could of got an LSx swap done faster lol

Ok guys. I was going to make a thread to document this build for Sabora, but I think I'll just continue his.

Effective last weekend I've taken over the build for his FC 20B.
Compression was strong 90 psi on all faces . Engine was super and I mean SUPER clean. Honestly I'm kind of sad we decided to crack the keg open. But better safe than sorry. There was no carbon lock on the side seals ,the rotors were clean , some shaft play in the primary turbo, but nothing that couldn't have been fixed by an upgraded compressor and thrust bearing. Finally the housings were in great shape as well.. Internally no signs of oil starvation or excessive bearing wear.

The current plan is to build this car NA semi-P port. I'll be using Logan's intake ports and having him modify the housings and lower intake to support the Semi P's. The clutch while purchased already is still being heavily debated. I'm pushing for a twin plate., but ultimately it's his engine and I'll use what he decides. Intake will be running a Rotary works 90mm throttle body. Injectors 550cc primaries ID 2000cc secondaries. Why? Room to grow. Also it allows him to go turbo in the future if he so decides or even run E85.
Haltech PS 2000 for the ECU . Headers will be made by Logan as well. E-shaft balancing will be handled by Mandeville Performance in Spartanburg , SC And balanced to within 1 gram for 10K plus rev capabilities. Running a dry sump is also being considered but there isn't a solid game plan for it yet. Other than that it will be running S5 NA rotors and TII exhaust sleeves.
