What is a link computer?

 

Link= NZ made aftermarket ECU. Very popular here, they make them as plug in fit for many popular cars here. Subaru's, Hondas, Nissan Skylines etc.
They are sold in the US but I am not sure who by.

 

There is a 700hp godzilla with my name on it & I need a few more fun vouchers too purchase it. Dont really want to part with the almighty 20b - but somethings gotta give!

Pettit also uses the link system (I have one on my 20b from him). The only problem I have with the system is that I am not aware of an interface that will allow you to load a map. You need to load the maps manually through the keypad (sucks when tuning). Mad20b, do you know of an interface that will allow for this?

My most recent experience is when I had a cell go out on the battery, it sent bad amperage to the computer which screwed up the settings. I am in the process of having my mechanic redo it now.
