Whats the compression on the S5 NA rotors ? 9.7 ?
Just a question . Could you have used RX-8's high compression rotors ? Would they fit ?

The S5 NA 9.7 rotors work great because they are a direct fit. They weigh the same as the 20b rotors. If you find a matching set (rotor weight wise) no balancing or modifications are needed.

The Rx8 rotors need more modifications to work.

1. Milling of the apex seal grooves to accept regular 2mm or 3mm apex seals. This milling has to be done because the Rx8's thinner apex seals aren't designed to travel over a peripheral exhaust port.
2. Rx8 stationary gears (from what I heard don't know why?).
3. rotating assembly needs to be fully balanced because the Rx8 rotors are lighter.

We plan on running in super GT and GT sprints for the remainder of the season. If we get enough sponsors a friend wants us to go with him to Guyana to race. If things keep going the way they are we hope to start racing all over the states. And my dad is thinking he wants to go back to South Africa for a race.

Is that your personal dyno? Is it available for rent? Or if you are renting it can you give me some info on it? I am just north of the GTA and would like to break a 13B in on it if possible.

if this can be arranged you can reach me at
ron at firstcalss dot com

thanks,
Ron

You guys are doing exactly what I plan to do to my 914 race car. I have almost 2 complete 20B engines and plan to send out the housings on one to get converted to a peripheral port. Did you do all the work yourself? I believe you own a shop correct? Would you consider building another for a customer? I already have an E11. Here is a picture of my car. It weighs 1400 lbs currently and I believe I can keep it under 2000 lbs with an engine.

The engine was built by Roger Mandeville. My dad owns a shop here. We do build rotary engines at the shop. Your best bet for the money and time is to get racing beat Housings. Do you plan on running a dry sump? Fuel injectors or Carbs?

Well The engine got dyno a roger mandeville shop this week. He said his dyno was out a bit. He said 475-480 At 9000rpm. This was the first time he used the e11v2 he didn't want to push the engine. We will be retuning it once the motor is in the car and everything is running good. he didn't got over 9000rpm so i think we could push it up close to 500.

I guess we know a lot of the same people.

Though the years, did a lot with & for: R Rahaman, M Rodrigues, A King.
Also B Thompsom, and D Summerbelt, aside from doing ALL of P Moody's Pro. stuff. .... S Syng's and others.

Don't think they'll let You run in Guiana w/ 3 R.

How about an invite to Canada !
Would love to run against You guys. even for an exibition.

Good luck, & Best Regards,

GT1-20b

Yes we would love for you to come up here and race next season. I will send you the races for next year when i get them.

The guy that asked us to go over there is Sean king. i think A King (Andrew) is his cousin if we are talking about the same guy.

We are going to be prototyping a new Elite 6-speed sequential dog box soon. The existing box is a PBS if I'm not mistaken... I'll verify.
