I have a couple of questions regarding doweling etc for a 20B. I have an extremely early series 20B (#548) that I pulled from a Cosmo. I was told that last time it was tried, the engine ran perfectly, but it's been sitting for a while. I already planned to rebuild and streetport it regardless. My goal is 600+ HP, for no specific reason other than S&Gs. I am planning to use a GTX42R or something similar for the turbo. I would like to stay somewhere around 15-20 PSI at high boost. I know I will need to upgrade the fuel system and will need to figure out how to plan for that. I am also planning to use something along the lines of a Haltech Platinum Sport 2000 or Elite 2500. All of this will be going into my RHD FC. I know that the early 20Bs had a weakness and needed to be doweled at much more than stock levels. One of my questions is whether or not this is at high HP or higher boost levels? I've run across things that suggest each. Also, would something along the lines of the Mazdatrix stud kits work in place of doweling? These may have been covered and I just haven't been able to find the right search.
