20b prices
With no turbo I spent just over $35,000 for the NA motor, EMS, exhaust, subframe, and bump steer kit. If I had not gone with an "upgraded" NA motor, I could have done it for as little as $25,000, I think, for a 300-320 whp motor without the more interesting stuff, like race rotors, Burns collector, high speed balancing, etc.
For someone doing on on their own, which I could and would not do, you could do it for about $10-15,000 in parts for a straightforward NA motor, plus a huge amount of time, and assuming you had access to engine puller/hoist, engine stand, eshaft puller, and all the other tools needed. You need to be dedicated, extremely capable and knowledgeable, poor, have lots of time, and be very very patient. Not me...

What about defined autoworks they have a 20b kit that you don't need to modify the subframe. How come you didn't go with that?
