Hey guys,

So my build is taking its time but I'm about ready to get me a turbo.

I was looking at a gt42r (gt4202r or what ever it is now).

But I've noticed these holset turbos showing up and was wondering if any one has had any first hand experience with an HX55 on a 20b?

What did it spool like etc?

My aim is 700hp at the wheels, engine has EP primary's and bridged secondary's

any info would be much appreciated

 

I have actually gone for a Holset myself.. I love them! A guy I was recommended to contact by Holset UK recommended me a Holset HX50 MFS. But I am building a street car so my main aim is good spool! I just hope I have enough top end to see 600bhp flywheel. Anyway. I am not running yet so I cannot give you any real feedback but if it is something you are keen to look into I can hook you up with his contact details. He is based in Finland but will ship worldwide. they are a holset supplier out there but have a lot of knowledge and do work on performance cars where pretty much every other holset dealer I have come across doesn't.

what did you end up paying for your HX50?
