20B fuel pump options

For those with a functioning 20B conversion, just wondering what fuel pump or pumps set up has worked for you? Are people doing dual intank, single intank and secondary external, etc etc? Thanks for any input.

On my car I have 1 bosch 165lph 61 979 pump feeding a fuel collector tank and 2 bosch 228lph 61 984 pumps feeding off the collector tank to the engine. All the pumps are inside the car and very noisy. I currently have the primary 550's and the stock secondary fuel rail with 1000's. I'll be using the k2rd.com secondary rail with 1600's. When I put my car back together i'm thinking about changing it up a little. I'm going to use 1 r32 gtr intank pump feeding a fuel collector tank and an A1000 pump feeding of the collector tank. The inline pump will be mounted underneith the car somewhere to help minimize noise.

Did some researching and stumbled on to the apexi BNR 32 and 33 options. Look like high flow pumps and wondering if one of these will fit the stock intank suspender and a high enough output to avoid a second pump or a lift pump.

From what i've been told the r32 gtr fuel pump is good to around 500hp. Also as far as I know the 32 and 33 gtr pumps are the same or very close. The gtr pump outflows the walbro hp pump under higher pressure. Thats according to this site.

if you are going to go like that, why not use the stock Cosmo pump? it flows as much or more than the GTR, ts just a little amperage hungry.

The simple fact that the pump has a higher Amp. rating, means it has a heavier duty motor.
The Denso Supra TT. pump is an excalent pump also. just like a Walbore 225.
You must also up-grade the fuel lines.
Big pumps on small likes chokes all efforts.

I am going to use new larger diameter lines to avoid choking off the new pump. I got a response from tweakit.net from Australia stating that if I'm looking for 700rwhp, then I should consider a SX 90 psi in tank pump option with slight mod to the intank hanger to suspend it. Anyone with experience with this set-up?

1) That not enough to "sustain" 300 Hp. on a 20b. And the key here is sustain !
2) If in tank, go w/ 2 for 600 or 3 walboros' for 700 +. in addition to a miminun of
a 5/8" line. w/ 3/8" return.

Im running a single SX at the moment, I may need to run 2 in the near future though. They are a great pump & not badly priced. Running -8 Feed line & -6 return with SX Reg.
