I've spoken with some who have done it before and it did require cutting portion of the firewall. Others have claimed that they 'hammered' down sections of the firewall

The engine does need to sit back further and lower to my understanding...

What a minute...do a soych!!!

Does anyone know how much PFS charges to do a 3rotor conversion moved back into the firewall like Phil Hamlin's car?

You can do anything you want. We really need to post a FAQ section here as people are too lazy to search.

Dave's top ten on 20b's

10. Why does Pettit charge so much
9. What about bump steer
8. Do I need a subframe
7. How much does it cost
6. Do I have to move my firewall
5. Can I use the stock ecm
4. I can do it myself/ my friend is a good mechanic so we should be able to do it with no problems.
3. How much for the engine
2. I am going to do it with twin turbo and then go single as I want to do it on the cheap
1. How about a-rod to the yankees!

No firewalls were hurt in the making of my Fd20b.

RX794, everyone has good and bad with speciality shops but, if you are looking at PFS, go to Pettit. There is a reason Pettit charges so much and why he dosent get sued (read about PFS putting used parts into engines and selling them as new...use your SEARCH KEY for more information ).

On a different note, my race engine is now ready from Cam. Using murphy's law, having a spare engine in the trailer will all but guarantee the engine in the car will lead a long and healthy life....!

-2. How many turbos should I use
-3. Will the stock transmission be strong enough

I know PFS as well as other shops have had good and bad experiences with people, I just really wanna know what they charge for that type of conversion.

I am working on a basic FAQ thread for this forum, but it will be a few more weeks before I post it. One of the main problems with a FAQ section for this particular forum is that, like you said, "you can do anything you want". Therefore, not only is a good FAQ section going to be difficult, but I am taking great pains to not make it into an "According to Evil Aviator" FAQ (Lord help us, lol), but rather more of a very basic FAQ that will give links and short answers for base knowledge, while still leaving enough open for provocative thought.
