20b fd gt42r

My original intention was to build a 20b FC, but I ran across a FD that was too cheap to pass up. So I am now stuck with 2 FDs. The 1993 black FD I picked up will be getting the 20B conversion. Below are some pics of the turbo setup.

I'll post more pics as the progress grows.

-I'll be using the Defined Autoworks conversion kit.
-Elliot from www.turblown.net will be doing the manifold, vmount for intercooler, radiator setup and other misc fabrication.
-Glenn (Mazpower) from www.IllicitPerformance.com helped me stud and build the 20b motor. Stud kit was from Mazdatrix. Glenn and I will be finishing it all up between January-February.

The 2nd gen is being scratched and sold.

The motor has been ported alot. No brige or half bridge. The turbo setup is a GT42R Vband setup 1.0a/r turbine 74mm compressor. I was looking for low turbo lag and a target of at least 500 HP. I will be doing methanol injection on the 20b as well.

The motor in the above pics are a mock up motor.

It's for sale. $1500 with no engine, no trans, no sway bars. Has a Ferrari red paint job, comes with 3 different hoods (TII, NA, and Mad Max hood).

You should see it for sale by Sunday.

Sick!

Good choice on the shops you chose to help your build.

Not much progress. Looking at mid February to make it run. Manifold fabrication and motor install will continue in 2 weeks. I gotta yank the fd motor 1st.
Front cover is on the 20b.
