20b dual thermostat question
Took off the stat cover again to check the stats
and just wanted to know which stat goes where.
The two stats are diffrent temps one is 97C and the
other is 82C,, that = 206.6 F and 180 F
Which one goes in the front and which goes in the back?
the higher one was in the front, does this mean that
mazda wants this thing to run at 206.6F as the running temp?

Sorry man, I have no idea about which goes where. I'm hoping I can ditch the whole thing and use an FB cast iron water pump on my 20B. It's a lot lighter than my '73 RX-2 water pump, and is probably lighter than my Cosmo's water pump. If it won't work, I'll just get an FC WP. I guess I just don't want to get into the JC's funky dual setup. I just hope it flows enough for NA use. Good luck with yours.

i think mine were the same, 82c i'm not 100% about that though.
i did replace them with 82c ones from an 89-02 rx7 8AF6-15-171.
my car runs at 95c with no fans and between 80-90 with the fans.
i also dont have that rear tstat shut off valve (it was bad)
