well we picked up our 20b today from local jap importer grabed a 6 pack and started to strip it...
Well rear housing is full of coolant turbo manifold has a crack down the center and rear lower exhaust manifold bolts were broken off and sitting on oil pan lip for a long *** time...front turbo swollowed a pebble....
all i can say is that importer is gonna hear from me on monday..
The motor came with ngk 11's racing spark plugs racing beat wires..signs of a boost controller boost gauge oil temp and pressure gauge and amp gauge but with a auto trani.....makes me wonder ?????

 

ouch.. sounds like my experience when i bought my FC... Guy bullshitted me and then drove the **** out of the car after i put a down payment on it.. Now its pretty much dead...

Ive been looking buy cant find much on 20B's any sudjections on where i can find info involving them and FCs. Sence this flooding thing wont quit.. a motor swap is my next option.

Well i called the importer on monday and explained to himmy findings and told him to send some one to my shop to look at it..... he said tuesday morning someone will be out....i could not wait so i loadedup the block andturbos and went to him on monday after lunch andshowedhis mechanicwhat was wrong.....
the managersaidhe neede to consult with his sales manager beforehe made a decision but wasencouraging me to leave the block etc with him...well i did not and told him to consult with whome ever he wants andget back to me on tuesday.....well he blew me of today andsaidto bring everything to him on wednesday...so i will heading out to himin the a.m.
If he was to make a deal what is that engine worth???
20b complete blown rear housing cracked exhaust manifold frt turbo inlet wheel fin damged???

I have been waiting 2months for one. There was two what i could have taken but they didn't have any compression.

Well i picked up a cean low miles 20b today....no cracks on exhaust manifold...turbo's are like new

hey guys if anyone is looking for a 20B there is a place in Calgary Alberta Canada his name is Adam. I got my motor from him and it is awsome they just did a write up on his shop in Modified mag he has pretty good pricies the number is 1-403-246-6980. he has all kinds of stuff for the 20B. tell him you heard of him from Sam and he might give you a deal why not nothing to lose lol. hope this helped.

 

Yep I got their sub-frame a little while ago. Another good thing, you don't have to pay taxes on their products because it's in Canada
