Just curious, but be honest ...even if the truth is unbelievable or seems ridiculous.

I said 1000-1999 because I got it for $800 and fixed it up to the point where it's driveable and fixed quite a few little odds and ends that make it look better than when I bought it.

i got mine in the spring for $3250, ive only put about $500 into it, but ive spent hundreds of hours getting working properly and working out all the bugs, if i wanted to id sell for about $4000, only less if the previous owner was interested again.

Am I actually trying to sell it? Or is it how much it is worth to me. I don't think many people would buy mine for over $2000, so if I need the money or something it would be the 1 to 2g range. If it is what it is worth to me it would be much higher!

Hell, you couldn't pull ANY of my RXs away from me. Well, maybe the crappy beat up 88, but, yeah.

You'd have to pay 20 Gs for ANY of them to get them out of my grasp!

Realistically speaking, though. . . .

The FB isn't worth much at all, other than the good interior, and motor, and. . . .wait a minute! It actually IS worth something! 1200 after the new fender is installed.

As for the GOOD FC, I'd say 2800, since it's just an NA, but it's cherry.

Damn, i am never selling my car. I would rather amputate my head before that happens!.

And i feel a little bit sorry for you guys over there. Here in Norway, a good shell, without engine, transmission, and interior would be worth 2000$ and up! A good 1.st gen with mods, lets say Turbo II 13B and so on would fetch 8000-10000$

And parts aint cheap either, a original exhaust costs 45000 norwegian kroner, thats about 7000$ at the dealer! Front brakes and pads for an 80? 1400$!

Its a bitch living in Norway.. And on top of that we have snow!

I voted over $20,000. I know nobody would pay that much for my car, but I wouldn't sell it for anything less than $50,000. I bought it new on May 25, 1978...the 2nd one sold here in Cedar Rapids. I was 6th on the original waiting list, and the people ahead of me didn't want this one because it was "plain". OK with me, I could do what I wanted with it. Turned out I didn't do much with it...it's almost entirely stock, and I've always loved it. I can't part with it. I'd even sell the '64 MGB I restored ground up before I would sell my '7.

My 7 right now has no hood, no headlights, no working electronics, an engine that needs rebuilt, a front end that needs rebuilt, a new radiator, blah blah.

I'd probably ask what I paid for it.

$300.

(BTW, it was in better shape when I bought it, the coolant seals decided to go on me a month or two back while rodding around on the ice and the radiator I skrewed while removing the AC since I was planning an aluminum radiator anyway)
