i was at a going away party for a good friend and i waited till i sobered up of course b4 i got into my fb...when i started my rex i heard a instant hiss and smelt gas heavily...i was like wtf, so i shut the motor off....but the hiss was still going on and the gAS smell just got stronger....i went back to my friends house cuz he knows more about the rotary then i do, **** the dude has had all 3 generations and now has the meanest 3 gen i ever did see...ANYWAYS i told him bout it and he came out to check it out...and literally we were just about 4 yards away from the coupe then the hood exploded off with a huge flame....we both were shocked and confused....turns out someone that i had beef wit for mad year set me up...we ended up ****** him up in front of his girl and got the police to understand why he was linked to the explotion to the car...i made way wit the insurance money and the fact that i got em back wit sum help from my boys, but dang man i feel like he still made way cuz nomore FB.

 

Can you explain to us how this guy was linked to your car blowing up?

wow that was intresting...it seems like people prefer to waste time replying to bogus stories instead of answering real tech questions.
i have posted a couple of questions like the brake light won't turn off, gas gauge not reading, and i gave symtoms of a broken distributor cap, coil, and rotor, but no one could give me any information about anything...to me rx7club is just a place to go to find parts not tech help...and if i haven't made it obvious already....my rex never went through any explosion...what's the deal man, that was upsetting to see all those replies for something that stupid.
