YAY! Got myself a carb, so only a few more things before my car will be good to go.

I found a good carb, when me and Eric(rx7gslse) went to the junkyard. It says it was rebuild 2-18-00 by CSC in Irving. It looks REAL good.... Looks like it has been sitting for about 4 months, but i think it should work well. I will run some carb cleaner in the tank, when I can get it on.

I still need to get an intake gasket, and o-rings, before i can put it back on. It is off an 85. but that shouldnt matter much.

So, here is what I need, for it to be a good daily driver.

1.) Tires- will go to discount tires to replce these rotten ones.

2.) Black carpet- Will go somewhere cheap, and it shouldnt cost more than $20.

3.) Paint- I need some to paint the interior panels(AGAIN) some black Plastikote(rubber stuff) for all the black pieces, and then some high tempature engine paint(silver-ish) for the rest.

4.) JB-weld- for the intake manifold.

5.) Intake manifold gasket, and o-rings.

6.) Rear shocks(Found one at the yard for cheap)

7.) Gauge cluster(Found one at the yard for cheap)

Future Mods.
1.) Direct fire ignition.
2.) Complete my exhaust system.
3.) Electric fan (have one, need an installation kit)
4.) Port my intake even bigger
5.) Mechanical Secondaries

So, finally at last, I am one MAJOR step closer. Now with the money that should be sent to me shortly (like $35) I will get my intake gasket, and o-rings, and the paint/jb weld I need....

Well, just wanted to post that i got a carb, and the status of my car!!! SOOOOOO Close....

Laters, Andrew

Sounds like a plan! Are you going to use the stock coils or some aftermarket brand when you set it up for direct fire?
