Finally got my car running now i just need to figure out why it wont hold an idle.

What was the problem? As far as idling; timing, vacuum leak, carb adjustment, carb rebuild, or maybe still an ignition problem. Good luck.

Hehe, mine is smooth as silk @800 rpms ever since I upgraded the ignition. Tried a lot of other things first, but none worked. My wife tried to start it when it was already running the other day, its that smooth.

Ever since I put an MSD in my RX3 wagon I have no more skips in mine. Idles like fuel injection. I agree with Kentetsu as far as checking out the idle problem.

well I know its running rich and it like hesitates at 6k to 7k rpms and dies when i let off the gas but starts just fine.
