No offense, but Yaw is the most over praised "rotary" guy ever in the rotary world! I can't believe how many people are always asking how to get a hold of him. His business practices over the net are crap as most people on the furum have found.

Makes me laugh how many people still want to do business with such a flake. Why go through all that trouble when a racing beat Holley or Weber system new or used is 400%easier to get and out of the box nicer in my opinion?! (UNLESS, you race in competitive classes that is required to use the stock carb in sanctioned races).

Well, it's my understanding that the racing community had **** for someone to build race leagal carbs for them. Even doing simple rebuilds can be a hassel. If they look at your carb and see something not PERFECT with it, let alone illeagally modded, well...race over, pal!

Yaw is a very knowledgeable talented rotary guy, and his pathetic business practices had been overshadowed by his work speaking for itself. The carb just freakin works! But he discovered himself, Jesus, or crack, and noone's seen him in forever.

According to his update, he's relocated, supposedly got his **** together, and is concentrating efforts on the up and coming Rx-8 market. Who knows- all you people bad mouthing him...he could have cancer, gotten divorced, whatever. You just don't know.

I don't bad mouth Yaw. I learned an awful lot of what I know from him and his tuning advice.

Thats halarious!! You discribe it like he joined a cult or is on drugs currently. But his webpage remains to give young rotaries ideas and barely returns any business, in that case should remove the page or alter it so it shows the reality of acquring a Yaw worked carb.

To me, his page is little more then vague information for most of us. He has a little info on air flow and how and why you should and shouldn't be porting. His info on flow benches I already have experience on since I used superflow benches on heads before. However, his info on timing is actually usable to some of us. I decided to go to a locked distrubuter after reading his info on it, if its still there.

No offience(as I stated before) Sterling, but I guess your a big Nikki guy. However it was obvious short of radically re-working the venturi's and jetting of a Nikki(not a for me to do WITHOUT a lot of research/time to determine exactly what to enlarge/shrink for optimization along with machining tools to do it) along with the engine porting I had, it wasn't going to give the results I wanted easily. Way back when I may of been interested in a mod'd nikki, I emailed him several times and yet to get a reply! Forget which year that was!?

I am not trying to bad mouth him personally, I am just saying anyone(Yaw) who doesn't respond to stimulus/email is not very helpful to very many people or entice them to like his work or lack there of. However I had no intention of going into sanctioned racing were everyone has to have the same stock setup, so I guess I am talking to people who just want power in non-required equal class usage.
