I'll take it out side friday and get some better shots. For the cars sake should I put a belt back on the air pump? As for the rust... whos know last owner was only the second owner and they din't drive it much for the last two years. Whats the BEST way to deal with it? Just grind it off bond o it up and paint her down???

Apparently you've never seen the amount of salt and crap that gets dumped on the roads in Calgary every winter.

Just wondering if you can just replace the front upper nose piece where all the rust seems to be? Maybe that would be easier?

13 BEEF Makes carbon fiber parts for our first gens. He's making these right now i think. He could do it in fiberglass or carbon fiber. Look him up in the first gen for sale section.

Rust like that comes from rock chips that eat thier way under the paint and rust until the paint has nothing left to hold to. It takes a lot of neglect to let it get that bad, along with a bit of salt.

+1^^^. if you so choose, a bra is a decent deterrant to the rocks. i have one on my 80 LS because i drive it so rarely that when i do drive it, i dont want the rock chips. how about more pics?

Ya the rust has become the next thing to take care of. I guess it was driven got some chips and then just sat so the rust could do it thing. I can't wait to get her all fixed up again. I'll get some better pics outside this weekend.
