YA Brake Question....
Ok since this Brake Upgrade Kit to S5 TII brakes hasn't come out yet and I want to have my brake to see if they will fit my autox rims, I was thinking to this myself and ask some questions about it.
1. What exactly do I need off of a GXL or TII car to both this brakes on my GSL-SE? Obviously I need Calipers, Rotors, I have to fab the mount for calipers. What else???
2. What can i do to use my stock 4-bolt which is same as the 2nd gen 4bolt, but the big brakes are all 5bolt? should I redrill the 5 bolt rotors???
3. I have this idea from different posts that I technically don't need to change the rear ones since only the front ones are 4piston calipers???
4. Do i need anychange in the brake line and/or do I need to change the brake booster and cylinder???
Thanks guys,

There are 3 different 2nd gen (& gsl-se) rear brake setups. The four bolt, the 5 bolt vented disc, and the 5 bolt non-vented disc. Thay all have different rotors , but all use the same pad. the GSL-SE, the 86-92 non-vented, and the 86-92 vented use different calipers. But all 2nd gens use the same rebuild kit.
The master cylinders, as far as the ones without ABS or AAS, are all the same.
I do not know if any of that helps, as I am more confused than when I started this post. What was the question?

So you guys are telling me either noone has done this or they are keeping it a secret .
In another post i get a reply: "change the crossmember, struts, hubs, springs". Well if i wanted to do that, i would be go buy a second gen.
I just want to know if i need to change the front hubs, spindles, etc. OR i just need the rotor and caliper and I need to fab the bracket. THat's all i need to know.
thanks
