XM Radio Antenna Placement

I am going to get XM radio in my car. I was wondering if anyone else on here has it, and where and how they have routed thier antenna.

I have Ideas, I just wanna see what works and doesnt.

My plan is to run it up the the back hatch glass and have it go outside on the back of the roof right before the hatch glass.

I have sirus.

All it is, is a battery ground. you can put it in yourself.

I ran my antenna under the mat, through the door trim. up the side wheel well panel. up that trim. and taped it to the ceiling.

it doesent want to stick to any metal up there.

I hae no idea what you are talking about in this post. The antenna is not a battery ground,as far as I know in either system.I also have Sirius(but not in the 7 yet)I would guess the original posters idea of routing the cable is a pretty sound idea.I had Sirius in my RX-8,and the way I routed it was under the trim of the center tunnel(very large in a RX-8,and runs all the way to the rear seats),and then into the truck, and following the hinge, and piston mechanism of the trunk lid out to the trunk lid.Now the 7 doesn't have a trunk, but following the route you mentioned, and putting it on the roof just before the hatch is a great placement.
