Xenon air dam anyone?

There are a couple of different molds that Xenon was using, for the 81-85 models, these were significantly different than the 79-80 models, since the 79-80 was a much more blocky and flat design. The later model had either a flattened portion going straight down from the bumper skin, or a smoothly curved surface which was rounded at the bottom. This latter design is the one that I have on my car.
For FRP, it is very durable and has sustained several impacts on parking curbs by my wife with minimal damage. If you can see in my signature line, I've added a 1" wide kydex strip across the bottom which is pop-riveted to the bottom plate of the airdam which allows it to break off in the event that it gets too close to an immovable object - this was learned after owning 2 of this style of airdam (don't ask...).
The center portion is also supported by 4-double thick kydex sheets approximately 1" in width that are then mounted to the cross member of the stock lower valance (plastic on the 84S/85 SE's). This keeps the 'ramp' straight at all speeds and prevents it from drooping.
The light holes were custom cut to fit the driving lights in place in the signature line, but I may be adding smaller light bezels (about an inch smaller diameter) to allow airflow to go around the light and through the existing slots in the factory valance, which you can't see. HTH,

holy **** is the red one nice. Must be out of money now with that paint job.
I would prefer the Mazda, Pacific or Mariah airdam but they dont stand up that well to steep driveways, curbs or cones
