that website has excellent articles explaining how things work. just about anything you could want to know - they even have forums. lots of automotive articles too, many of which include 3d detailed animations. very informative and easy to understand. i am reading the article about differentials now- cool animations

mar3,
originally my passeger side one was real messed up so i got a used one to replace it and it was red. instead of attempting to match the gold, i thought they would look kinda cool black so i bought some black trim paint and sprayed em. ghetto but i think they came out decent

yea radioactronic transmorgrification is cool

It is a rather bold statement. I was thinking you had deep, deep tinted lens covers and some kind of custom optics under them.

haha, well see, im planning on getting my car painted and getting a non-flip headlight kit (if there is one) in the near future (i mean when i get a job - im 17) so wasnt worried about how good of a job it is cause its just temporary. but i like it cause it gives it sort of a new look

edit: if you like, you can pretend they are ultra tinted lenses with a high output top secret optic system built with plans stolen from a top secret optic test facility

hehe
I'm in the same boat...
And in fact, with the exception of the headlights and the rims, mine looks the same =)

Don't do the non-flip-up kit though! it's so.... non-RX-7

i owe howstuffworks.com the credit for the fact that i knew the basics of how rotaries worked long before i got my 7 , otherwise when i read "this car has a rotary engine" on ebay i wouldve said "WTF is that?!"

haha jon, your post in the other thread was right after mine the admins should make a sticky for learning sites
