Yeah, I registered it. Figure if I lose interest in the Mound I can get a **** site going or something...anyways...check it out...a lot of ya'll have seen the engine restoration already, but I've added content to the last page:

http://brownmound.com/engine03/itstarts.html

I still need to get all the progress pics on the bodywork up, so there isn't anything on the exterior restoration page, yet...nor the history page....yet. But check out the crunch link:

http://brownmound.com/crunch04/crunch.html

Read the letter I wrote to persuade the woman who hit me to give me $2000 instead of sending the Mound to the crusher! It's long but a good read, and I think y'all will relate! It even brought a tear to the eye of the previous owner!

There are few bad links that I need to fix....

Let me know what you think! brownmound.com baby!

Right on.

At first I thought your letter had realy nothing to do with your accident, but in turn it was changed the peoples minds into giving you the money. Good Job and good luck.

nicely done site. i cant wait to see the car when you get it finished.
i will say that you have more strenth and vision than i do. i recently gave up on my brown 85 GSL-SE (A.K.A. mr hankey) and sold her to a fellow board member, who by the way is taken very good care of her.

oh BTW i dont even want to think about the content that would be cntained in a **** site labeled thebrownmound.com

Just a quick fact for you: cars don't get retitled "salvage" in Texas after they are 10 years old. The assumption is that anything could have happened to it after that time period.

Huh? Care to explain why my 93 Miata's title has "SALVAGE" stamped on it?

Excellent letter. If more men felt as passionate about thier wives, as you do your car, the divorce rate would be nil.

Did it get stamped before it was 10 years old?
