WTF MATE ACV block off plate question

so i know my car has had the rat ness removed but i never really looked at it closely. well i found out today they never installed a acv block off plate. i have no clue how long the car has been runing like this. i know i drove it for about 50 miles with no problems. please tell me my engine will be ok. ive already order a plate to put on. just want to know if any internal damage may have been caused?

Shouldn't have caused any damage, just a vacuum leak, suprised you didn't notice. If you hammered on it hard, it was running lean, not a major problem NA but has a potentntial for detonation. If you didn't hear any, you should be good.

their did seem to be very lean (shuddering) at high rpms but i thought it might be the fuel pump or fuel filter. so ive order all new stuff for that as well.
