Angry WTF crappy idle!!!!!!

I have a 1982 rx with a 13b dual 2 bbl. weber carbs, 2 inch exhaust. Anyway, i changed my water pump 2day, it was weak. In the process i broke off 2, of 4, bolts that hold a pulley on the crankshaft, or whatever it's called I new at rotary, which drives the ac. Now the thing hardly idles and shakes like a motherf$@%er. How would you remove the broken off bolts out of the pulley?

Would the broken off bolt in that pulley cause the shake and poor idle? If not, what? IS there some special way to tighten the fan bolts?

Thanks for your input, jalvord

If you broke off the heads you will probably have to use an easy out. basically drill a hole in the center of the bolt for the easy out to go into . It screws in counter clockwise so that when you turn it enough it should draw the bolt out. Spray it first with some pentrating oil of some type first. They are also called screw extractors.

Yep, I've been there done that with the water pump bolts lol. Do what Crankit said - actually just walk into a hardware store and describe your problem, they'll hook you up. It's not too bad.
