take the 85 pipe out, get some manderally bent 3inch pipe, and section the pieces together till its the same shape, then ffit it up undernieth, im assuming you can weld, and dont mind spending money on 3 inch pipe, this is what i did
ill post some pics when im done, shoulave before when it was out, but whatever,

Takes 3 pieces to do and with 3" you really gotta work it to the top to avoid the axle hitting.Mines bumped once or twice, but not badly.

For my time it was worth more to take it to a muffler shop and let them bend the pipe and fit everything in. It was less than $100 for my local shop to bend and install everything behind the moroso spiral flow you'll see on my website. That included welding on the hangers and the flanges The Flowmaster muffler you see on the site was $125(with shipping). It's not mandrel bent, but they did a rel good job bending it and keeping the shape:

see the pics on my website. 3" hasn't hit my axle yet, but I've only been on the road with it for a month now. I have eibach springs so it is lower, but stiffer.

ISC Racing has a midpipe you can buy from them for $80 and it's SS. but then you have to do the fitting

how does this 3in pipe connect to the header flange since it is so much smaller...and is the 3in to big since it seems as though the air in teh piping will cool off and end up losing me performance??????

You dont need 3",thats just what I went with because Im running a lot of boost and my downpipe is 3" as well.
For a streetport 12A or stock 13B, 2.5" or whatever the header outlet is,will work fine.3" will just be louder and heavier.....

rotary doesnt need backpressure, i made myself a 3inch pipe aswell, going into an old 3 inch muffler that i found, sounds good so far, but was just wondering how the flowmaster sounds, was thinking about one, is it too loud, or anything? i guess it would be quite a bit different after a turbo, does anyone run a non turbo flowmaster with no presilencer?, i want to hear some reviews on what sounds good...

I'm also running a full 3" from the header. N/a. a little unnecessary but sounds nice, a little loud... but goes well up high ready for the turbo lol... if i ever get one :P

I'm not sure there are many 3" in and out muffs around that will last long enough with the hot exhaust, make sure you get stainless steel packed, but at 3" it's gonna be hard to muffle the noise :P

i dont really need to worry about noise im used to it my freinds have a 1980 V-8 camro with striaght exughst and sr20 with 3in stright exughst all the from the turbo...so even though my car now is quite i and dont mind about noise or the muffler wearing out...

and yea somebody might flame me for wanting to be a ricer i have taken off my muffler so it ends at the connecting pipe and i had alot more power since off my stock manifold i have the RB cat pipe which if i do this mod im going to need to sell my RB muffler and cat pipe...

what could i get for these since they have only been on my car for about....5months and my cat pipe is still chrome and only has blue and purple discoloring near the header section.....??? i will need to use that money to buy a header to start the project
