Well last nigth i got rearended by a 60 year old man. he hit me and pushed my car into the back of a truck. but i think i see a new paint job in my near future.

 

Make 100% sure you get a Police report, and If they try putting you at fault for hitting the person in front of you Fight it to hell!!!


I was rear ended and pushed into a car, and never thought anything of it. A Year later i got to get my onw ins policy, and whats this!! a at fault accident for rear ending!!! I never knew, and there was nothing i could do since it was a year.

If you report it, it'll hit your insurance record as an accident whether you're at fault or not. The only reason older folks have such good rates is becasue they can afford to pay these things off where as younger guys have to use insurance. Get a quote for the whole job and paint the whole car and have the other driver sign a statement admitting fault and releasing you from any further claim. You'll be saving him from insurance costs and yourself too, so don't feel guilty. If he objects, start telling him your neck is pretty sore and you might see a lawyer.

 

well i'm fine, and the first thing i did was call the cops.got a full police report and he was issued the ticket. the guy that i got pushed into never stopped he just kept going. so the guy that hit me his insurance is going to pay for everything. the insurance said that they might total out the car but if they do i am keeping it and i will let them send me a check and i'll fix it myself or they will give me check to put it in the shop and then i will just take that check and go fix it my self. It is cool because their is a rx7 shop here in memphis and i know the owner real well and he'll take care of me ( for example all of the parts i need to fix the car for real cheap, letting me use his shop to do the work and still having extra cash for a paint job.)
