Did you see how many other body kits he had for first gens? How sweet would that be to have 4 kits you could change them out every season.

I'd be willing to buy one of the air dam molds if enough people agreed to buy finished pieces. I work for a boat builder so the fiberglass work is no problem. The guy selling the molds is only two hours from me.

I estimate that it would cost about $70 to $80 per part to make, that is material and labor to lay the glass and cut and finish the part. So to make back the money to buy the mold a commitment of 10 parts @ $150 would be necessary for me to commit to buy one.

That is NOT the Kaminari front air dam. The skirts look right, I'll have to check the rear wing. I have the 4 piece kit. (And yes all pieces have the Kaminari name on them.) One of his other auctions has an air dam that looks more like the Kaminari, but this one isn't it, unless they made 2 different ones.

This guy looks suspiciouly like an eBayer by the name of RX7audiophile that I bought a few items from. High prices and shipping.

I was just gonna post the same thing. Ive met and dealt with him before. Be very wary of this guy. His crap dealings on ebay is why he had to change his name. Same guy Im sure of it. Hi pressure "buy it now" payment due immediately, yea thats him alright. And Im no glassman but those molds look awful rough to me.

Molds are never a pretty thing but as long as they are straight they will be fine.

the insides of the molds look great, and thats all that matters as far as the finished product goes, and there is always work other than just forming the glass to the mold that makes the difference. yeah, the real kaminari kits airdam is much more attractive. odds are there wont be 10 ppl wanting airdams... hell, look at how many attempts to make group buys of fiberglass hoods we'v had, at least 5 a year, lol.

If somebody had 3grand, he would problably take it for all the molds and then you could start your own FG and CF body part shop and make some money.
I don't got 3 grand....

I personally think he wants way too much for those molds. There so few of us 1st geners left there is not that much of a demand for it.
