Wow never underestimate the stupidest things..
As I have been posting here this past day about the problems I was all encountering while trying to get my new cd player to work I found such a simple thing that I overlooked. When I was checking fuses and stuff trying to figure out why I got power to my cd player and the display wasn't working I was obviously taking out the fuses, checking to make sure they were good then putting them back in. Well in the process of doing this I just decided to check all the fuses and then I was messing around with wires after that and some other junk. Once this was all done I tried something else with my cd player to see if it would work and decided maybe I need to turn on my car and let the cd player reset well when I started up my rpm guage didnt work, none of the cluster lights, turn signals the whole she-bang. Freaked out all day trying to find the source of my problem only to find just a half hour ago one of my fuses was coroded and after scrapping that off everything worked again, well except for my cd player which I am still trying to figure out. But damn never underestimate the stupidest things because it will drive you crazy all day going through so many things only to find it could've been a 1 minute job. God damn haha and good day.

I know how that goes. I've learned the hard way that the simplest things are usually the most likely to be the cause of a problem. It's taken many of these events to have that simple fact beaten into my skull.
How about this one. My brakes SUCKED since the day I bought the car. I had to put the pedal to the floor to slow down at even a painfully slow rate. I had spent a very long time trying to figure out the problem, checking every inch of the lines and the master cylinder. I even tried to bleed the whole system through my 1 remaining bleeder valve. About a week ago I was ordering rebuild kits for each brake and stainless steel hoses. I planned to rebuild the entire system and take the master cylinder out of my parts car. Fixing the problem this way is kinda like killing a gnat with a flame thrower, but I couldn't think of anything else to do. Along with the other items, I bought pads. Everything else would take a long time to get, so I figured I'd just put them in right away. Guess what? Yeah, my brakes worked just fine with new pads. Sure, I had known they weren't great, but I just thought "there's no way that half-worn pads could make the brakes this bad". Apparently I was wrong.
It's funny how not spending $20 to do the simplest thing first could have gotten me killed. I don't think I'll be overlooking things like that anymore.

one of my headlights didn't come up one day so I checked all the fuses and links, It was the linkage from the headlight motor, took 5 seconds to fix, but took me 30 min. to find the problem

I'm an idiot too!
Trying to install a SAFC (doesn't work but that's a different story). Test start the car and it won't start. Rewired everything again, still no start. Pull the plugs out because I thought it was flooded, still no start. Looked at my wiring again and notice I never plugged back my ECU, Doh!!!
