The intake will work but as it states, the adaptor plate is made for the 86-92 RX-7. They have a larger sized AFM. There are adaptor plates available that will fit the GSL-SE or have one custom made for you.

ok, i did a search, and if all the other posts are correct, the 86-91 adapter plates should fit right on to the gsl-se intake. right? those plates on ebay look exactly like the hks adapter plate k2rd.com used to sell. but k2rd sold them at $25 or $30, and these are for $6.
but back to my original question, is that correct that the 86-92 adapter plate will work just fine on my gsl-se in setting up for a cone filter? if not, where can i get one for a gsl-se besides having one custom made? or does anyone know how to make a homemade adapter plate? i remember seeing a site that showed how, but i can't find it now. thanks

I use the HKS one for the 2nd gens. It worked great, and i had no problems with it at all.

heh I went to home depot, got one of those alluminum gutter pieces that lets you have a down pipe drain, cut off the sides and bolted the bottom downspout piece on, then bolted the filter to the piece. worked great and cost like 5 bucks
