would a stock fd muffler work on my fb
would a stock fd muffler work on my fb
i can pick up a fd muffler for 50 bucks or so, but i was wondering if it could handle the heat of my exhaust with no turbo. i am asking because the turbo(s) cool down some of the heat, and noise and i dont want to burn up anything (like when i was about to put an RS-R muffler on my car, bad idea...) would the fd handle the straight exhaust heat from my non ported, soon to have headers 12a?

I'm using the muffler from a WRX and it does fine with the heat...turbos atcually make things hotter cuz they compress the gas...or so says the mechanic i asked about this when i bought the muffler. so you should be fine

btw, WRX, STi, or EVO mufflers should be good counterparts as well
